The Oakland Orchestra was an ICSOM member from 1975 to 1990. The orchestra went bankrupt in 1986 but the group retained their ICSOM membership during the difficult transition years. When the orchestra reconstituted as the Oakland East Bay Symphony, it then joined ROPA .
