The Syracuse Symphony Orchestra joined ICSOM in 1970. In 2013 it was dissolved and Symphoria was created by nearly 50 members of the former Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. In 2024 the orchestra officially changed its name to The Syracuse Orchestra.
